OUR STORY

Our journey started back in 1975 when we started delivering live chickens to shops who had a slaughter room at the back of their shops. In 1988 the law was changed that chickens could only be slaughtered in certified slaughterhouses. The start of a new era when oven ready chickens wore introduced to the public. In 2002 we opened a slaughterhouse in Cannock where we were the first company to join Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) we have been their members ever since.

In 2012 we opened Gojra Spices to diversify away from the whole bird market and started to further process the chickens into smaller cuts (Breast Fillet, Legs, drumsticks etc) we then saw that there was a market for marinated products. We started to supply Dixy Chicken and Pepe’s where we marinated their chicken with the marinade they supplied.

Over the years we started to develop our own marinade which are tried and tested by takeaways and butchers all over the country. We have now decided that the public should be given the opportunity to benefit from our vast experience. We can tailor make any marinade for retail or wholesale customers.
